The Grief Empowerment Theory Concept

What is The Grief Empowerment Theory?

The Grief Empowerment Theory is based on science, self-discovery, extensive research, and evidence of people who have used several aspects to create progress. The theory aligns with the laws of energy conservation in Physics. This correlation creates an understanding of the concept. According to the law, energy cannot be created nor destroyed but can be manipulated through transference and transformation. That fact applies to both the natural plain and the quantum realms (atoms and molecules). Given this, the negative energy of grief can be manipulated and transformed into positive energy that can serve as fuel.

The world’s almost infinite negative energy is documented daily via the News, social media, and daily conversation. Coupling that energy with the brain usage of electromagnetic energy provides limitless opportunities for fuel. The Grief Empowerment Theory shows people how to repurpose that negative energy and repackage it to cultivate growth and progress.

The brain changes during the process of grief. According to Dr. Mary-Francis O’Connor’s latest book, “The Grieving Brain,” the brain neurotransmitters shift to accommodate the new information of the grieving experience. This shifting of neurotransmitters provides the opportunity to change perspective and allow the griever to find value from the challenging experience.

In Marcus Aelius’ book “Meditations, he said,” Loss is nothing else but change, and change is nature’s delight.” Grief of any type represents loss. Change is the only constant in life, so shifting perspective on loss is the most substantial way to navigate change. There are lessons in loss. The actual loss is not the lesson; the adjustments to change are the lessons.

The Grief Empowerment Theory transforms the view of loss and simultaneously helps one find new understandings to change.
