I am a Grief Empowerment Strategist who works with single fathers, with the goal of helping them navigate their parenthood journey. As a single father, my journey began in April 2016 on the day my wife of 17 years passed away from pneumonia. It has been a journey of ebbs and flows that helped me become an expert in helping men to discover the incredible abilities they have acquired through single parenting and guiding them to become better parents to their children.
Becoming a single father allowed me to gain insights I would not have acquired without learning how to navigate this path. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2024, there are 2.5 million single parent men in America. Although this is an exclusive club, membership does have its privileges. Those privileges are not recognized immediately, but over time, the challenges can morph into abilities, gifts, and talents single parent men can utilize to become the better version of themselves, while creating the best path to navigate their journey for their lives and the lives of their children.
With a strategy called M.A.N. (mindstate, affirmation, and navigation) I prepare single fathers on how to develop their gifts and overcome their mindsets by showing them how they have gained valuable skills through single parenting.

Through my 26 years of parenting, nine as a single father, as well as my life coaching credentials and years of studying philosophies like Stoic principles and positive psychology, I have developed the M.A.N. strategy. A strategy that is proven through testimonies of men I have worked with to aid them in reaching balance in their lives.
I show men how to transform the grief related to single parenting into fuel for growth, progress, and forward momentum. Using the M.A.N. strategy, I help men reframe their thoughts related to single parenting.
